🔍 What Do the Different Plans Include?
With WSG, your warranty covers both parts and labour for a huge range of repairs:
- Platinum & Gold Plans: Around 6,000 mechanical, electrical, and electronic components — including many normally excluded by other warranty companies.
- Silver Plan: A listed component cover, ideal for older or higher-mileage vehicles.

⏱️ What If My Car Exceeds the Age or Mileage Limits?
Don’t worry — age and mileage limits only apply at the start of your warranty. If your vehicle exceeds them later, your cover simply continues for the remainder of the term.
The only exception is the Platinum Warranty, which includes wear and tear cover up to 100,000 miles. After that, the wear and tear element ends, but the rest of your cover remains.
🧾 How Do I Make a Claim?
Before any repairs are carried out, please contact the Warranty Solutions Group (WSG) claims team on 0800 060 8610 or email claims@wsgwarranties.co.uk. They’ll provide an authorisation code to the garage before any work begins.

🛠️ Servicing Requirements
Your vehicle must be serviced in line with the manufacturer’s guidelines throughout the warranty period. All services must be completed by a VAT-registered garage within 500 miles or 4 weeks of the recommended interval (whichever comes first).
🏎️ Choosing Your Garage
You’re free to use your own garage or one from our approved repairer network. We work directly with hundreds of trusted garages across the UK and can settle claims with them directly.
If you use your own, please note:
- We have a set labour rate — any higher costs may be your responsibility.
- Some garages may ask you to pay first; we’ll reimburse you once we receive the invoice and documents.
- Specialist systems (gearboxes, ECUs, engines, or turbos) may need to be referred to our partner repairers.
🚗 Is Recovery Included?
Recovery isn’t included as standard, but can be added for a small additional fee.
💳 Will I Have to Pay for Covered Repairs?
All covered repairs are paid up to the maximum claim limit specified in your policy. There’s no excess for covered items unless stated otherwise.
⚠️ Modified Vehicles
Unfortunately, vehicles modified from their original manufacturer specification are not eligible for cover.
